Fairy Tale Friday #10

Have you noticed the fab new feature at Teddy Bo and Co, Teddy Bo’s Top Tips, well you wouldn’t believe the trouble it has caused this week!!!

When the boss brought it up at our last brain-storming session (we hold one each week and no-one ever misses, mainly because there is lots of vodka, wine and cake), everyone was quite excited, but then she asked for a volunteer to run it and before anyone else had a chance, Debbie took a flying leap onto the table and slid down the length of it on her knees, stopping in front of Gayle and singing "I'm the one that you want, woo hoo hoo, yeh! the one that you want!!!
How could Gayle refuse?

The problem was that most of the other girls wanted to do it too, so when Debbie sat down again next to Claire, with a big cheesy grin on her face, Claire who was busy knitting herself another pink twin-set ‘accidently’ stabbed her in the arm with a knitting needle - and when Edna,(who was sitting on Debbie’s other side), stood up to protest, she ‘did not realise’ that she had punched through Debbie’s slipper and straight into her foot with her stiletto heel!

Debbie feeling a bit peeved about this treatment, jumped up and grabbed Edna by the hair, but got a terrible fright when the whole lot came off in her hands, (nobody knew that Edna's hair was really a wig), and to make matters worse, Claire realised that the wig was the same colour as her cat, which had gone missing a few weeks ago, (just around the time that Edna had changed her hair colour).

By now Debbie had thrown the wig away and grabbed Edna by the shoulders, just as Claire grabbed her by the legs. Edna was now suspended between the two of them, Debbie pulling her one way and Claire pulling her the other, Edna was like the piece of rope in a tug of war, after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing Debbie gave a huge tug, Claire couldn’t hold on any longer and Edna’s legs flew out of her hands, Debbie fell backwards as Claire let go and the momentum brought Edna’s legs flying over her head as though she was doing a back flip, Debbie fell to the floor with a crash and Edna landed on Debbie’s face, in a sitting position with a leg on either side of Debbie’s neck, and do you know what Edna did at this point?...  she only went and threw her arms up into the air, looked around the room at the rest of us, gave a great big smile and shouted..... Ta-daaa!!!, as if she was some fabulous gymnast who had just finished an amazing routine.
Claire ran from the room in tears and was last seen running out of the front door with her passport in one hand, a suitcase full of pink twin-sets in the other, and muttering something about needing a week in Tunisia to get over it all.

Gayle looked around the room at the bedlam and then said very calmly, "now who would like to do the first tutorial on Top Tips Thursday?" Of course everyone wanted to be first, so the fighting broke out again and this time it was a bit of a free for all, there were fists and feet flying everywhere.

Jill ended up having to do the tutorial, because she was the only one who didn't end up in hospital! (probably because she was asleep under the table cuddling an empty vodka bottle when the fighting broke out!)

Make sure you check out her fabulous tutorial for making a Post-it note easel card here, have a go at making one yourself and add it to the linky tool, so that we can see how you've done. If you  join in you'll be sent a FREE IMAGE as a thank you for sharing with us, so please make sure we can contact you or we'll have a lot of sad homeless bears to deal with.
Don't worry if you don't have a blog you can email your entry to us, or you can enter on our Facebook page.

PS. Claire’s cat turned up today with half a dozen kittens in tow, 3 green with purple spots, 2 purple with green spots and one that's pink and glittery?!?!?!?, and Edna finally admitted that she had liked the colour of the cats fur so much, she had actually dyed her wig to match it.

Now let's have a look at some Design Team inspiration, there's not many this week as most of them have their hands in bandages, but a few of us have managed to work through the pain.

(two black eyes, a broken nose and bruised ribs)

I´ve used the gorgeous baby image for my card, and colored with Prismacolor pencils as always. The cardstock is from Bazill and SU, the backing paper that I`ve used  is by First Edition Paper. The sentiment I created on my PC. In Englisch it means *small wonder*. I´ve decorated only with Paper Flowers.
Hugs Nicole

(3 broken toes, bruised shins, a scraped elbow and a cut lip)

I have used this cute Teddy Bea with a gift
and coloured her with  copic markers.
The digi papers are from Bearly Mine.
I cut out a shape with the slice machine and
stamped a greeting on from Inkadinkado.
I then edged it with Faded jeans distress ink and Star Dust glitter glue.

Hugs Angie x

( two front teeth knocked out, a cauliflower ear and a broken nail)

I've used the Fairy and dragonfly for this card.
The paper is from Echo Park Victoria Garden, the cardstock is DCWV and the dies are the new Spellbinder autumn releases 'Lace doily motifs and accents'.
The image is coloured with Prisma pencils and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley. Gems and ribbon are from my stash. :)

(sprained wrist, dislocated left thumb and bite marks on my bum - left by Edna!!!)

When I was travelling around the internet this week I noticed a spring card on somebody's blog and thought to myself, I haven't made one of these for about two years, must make another one soon, and then this evening I realised we were a bit short on cards for this post, (because of all the injuries), so I quickly put one together.
As there is not really anywhere to write your message on this type of card I made a tag which will tuck into the back. I used paper from the Clipart Fairy, Go Kreate and Nestability dies, an embossing folder, and flowers and ribbon from stash.

(whiplash! cut above left eye, numerous bruises and a few bald patches, Helle really likes pulling hair!)

Printed TEDDYBEA_096 " Sitting Ballerina " on to Bristol Board, coloured with Poly Pencils.
Added glitter to her tu-tu and pom-pom. Small heart shape gem on her shoulder.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the gems and ballerina shoes charm.
Papers are Magnolia - " Something New, Something Old "

You still have until Sunday 18th September midnight (GMT) to join in with our Say it with flowers challenge, we are looking forward to visiting your blogs and checking out your fabulous creations.
