Fairy Tale Friday #37

Yesterday morning whilst reading the local paper Edna got all excited about an advertisement she had found for a new shop on the High Street called Tarty Togs and insisted we all go into town with her and help her choose a new outfit.

As we had all been working hard we thought a couple of hours break might do us good, so we got the mini-bus out and prepared for a trip into town. Jill and Helle climbed aboard dragging a barrel of Potato Chip Vodka behind them, Maritha had her iPhone loaded up with Abba tracks, and Claire had brought her knitting to do on the journey ( I wouldn’t mind but it only takes ten minutes to get into town).

To save the bother of carrying glasses around the girls all had a long piece of plastic tubing each, with one end in the barrel and the other in their mouths, they could sip away on the Vodka quite easily without having to refill glasses, by the time we arrived at the shopping centre they were all a little tipsy.

We parked up and walked the short distance to the new shop, and realised straight away that it was the perfect clothes shop for Edna as the window was full of skin tight sequinned tops, skirts that were no bigger than a belt, lots of leopard print items and very high heeled stiletto shoes.

Edna picked up a few things and went into the changing room to try them on, but she kept poking her head out and staring intently through the window then scurrying back into the changing room again. After she'd done it a couple of times we glanced out of the window to see what she was looking at, but all we could see was a pole with a No Parking sign on top of it and lots of people walking past.

Once again Edna popped her head out and stared out of the window, but this time a big smile spread across her face, before she ducked back into the changing room.
We all looked round again but everything looked the same as before, except for a white van that had parked underneath the No Parking sign.

A couple of minutes later Edna’s head appeared again, and suddenly she came dashing out of the changing room, wearing nothing but a black fishnet body stocking, a leopard print G-string and white six inch stiletto heels, she ran through the shop and threw herself at the pole outside, where she immediately started gyrating, grinding her body against the pole, and swinging around it whilst singing Rod Stewarts ‘If you want my body and you think I’m sexy, come on sugar let me know’. Everyone in the road stopped and watched her with a look of horror and disgust on their faces, including the traffic warden who was just about to start writing out a ticket for the white van.

It was at this point that we realised Edna fancied the traffic warden, it seems he had helped her across the road the last time she had come into town and she had become quite smitten with him, she was gazing straight into his eyes as she ran her hands up and down her body and then winking at him suggestively, he looked terrified, but things got worse when she jumped from the pole, ran over to him, licked his face and then jumped back on the pole with her legs wrapped around the top and her head and arms hanging down towards the floor, still singing.

At that moment the van driver returned, and realising that the traffic warden was about to give him a ticket, he flung the van door open and jumped in ready to make a quick getaway, unfortunately the door smashed straight into Edna’s head and knocked her out, she slid down the pole and landed on the floor in a heap. By this time the Traffic Warden was running off in the opposite direction, screaming and trying to rub Edna’s saliva off his face.

An ambulance turned up a couple of minutes later and Edna was taken off to hospital, we followed behind in the mini-bus.

After about an hour a nice lady doctor came out, apologising for the wait, it seems Edna had needed some X-rays done. She told us we could go in and sit with Edna while they were waiting for her X-rays to come through.
Edna seemed fine apart from two black eyes and a couple of missing teeth, but all she was interested in was whether or not we thought the Traffic Warden had been impressed by her Pole Dancing moves.

The doctor returned shortly with Edna’s X-rays, turned on the light box, fixed the X-rays into place and studied them intently for a few minutes, we all did the same, then she turned to us and could see that we were all quite taken aback by what the X-rays were showing us.

This is what we all saw;

Typical Edna, she even keeps her stiletto's on and poses provocatively for her X-rays!!!

 Heres my card for this week using the gorgeous Olifant. I so love his little expression! I have teamed him up with papers from my Sundae of Season CD. The fence, flower and leaves were all cut using my Silhouette. I have coloured it all in with Promarkers.
 This has got to be one of my favourite Teddy Bea. I have used Co-Ordination paper and embossed the lighter one to create a frame. The yellow flowers and leaves have been cut on my silhouette.
