Fairy Tale Friday

*only off 'Teddy Bo' digital graphics

It's been an interesting week this week with the Football European Championships on the telly. Gayle went in a huff because Scotland did not qualify and has locked herself in the toilet until it's all over. That would not necessarily be a problem, but with the repair works still ongoing at Teddy Bo Towers, the only working toilet is in the caravan.

Now everything was going fine until England went 1-0 down to Italy, and Tammy screamed at the telly so loudly the screen cracked and the TV screen went blank. Since then, the girls have been listening on an old radio.

To make it feel more atmospheric, Maritha suggested they try a Mexican Wave. Each in turn jumped up and down inside the 4 berth caravan. The caravan bounced up and down, and as it lifted up off the ground, it bounced back down over the brick that prevented the caravan from moving. Now Teddy Bo Towers is built on a hill, and the caravan started to roll slowly at first as the girls tried to get to the door, but by the time the door opened, they were travelling too fast to jump.

The shoddy workmen had left the gate open, and the caravan careered through the garden and onto the main road, forcing a passing ice cream van to take emergency action and ditch the van in a verge.

Rumbling down hill, the girls held onto anything they could in the caravan. A confused Gayle was having difficulty wiping her bum with toilet roll as the caravan bounced over a speed bump.

Finally the caravan hit a kerb throwing the girls to the floor; an open bottle of vodka fell from a worktop, Tammy heroically dived to catch it and managed a swig of vodka before she crashed to the floor. The caravan bounced upwards then rolled forwards and then a few seconds later everyone thought it was over before the caravan tipped forward and splashed into the village pond.

We were lucky no one was seriously hurt, though a few drinks were spilled. The caravan was pulled from the pond as everyone watched on. The workmen have now built a small brick wall that the caravan rests against, so that this won't happen again.

Oh and Gayle's still in the toilet. Some of the girls are getting desperate to pee. Only Colette seems to be ok. However, the vase of roses on the shelf behind her seems to be dying very quickly.
