Fairy Tale Friday

After all the sporting events taking place over the last few weeks, the girls are exhausted, their muscles have seized up and nobody has been able to move for the last week, except Gayle who somehow got lost on her last lap round the pond, ran all the way to the airport and jumped on a plane to somewhere hot and sunny. We hope she comes back soon, as she has the keys to the recipe book cupboard and nobody else knows how to cook Haggis. At this point I should probably say we are wasting away from lack of food, but truth be told, Claire has managed to move her little finger enough to dial the local takeaways and the girls have had such delights as Margherita and Chicken delight pizzas, a Chinese banquet, onion bharjis, Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, fish and chips, Thai Green curry, and Beef stew and dumplings with apple pie and custard to follow (her finger wasn't working so well one day, and by mistake she phoned meals on wheels instead of McDonalds! she says it was an easy mistake to make as they both begin with the letter M end in the letter S and have the word on in the middle!!!) don't worry though we all had Big Mac meals the following night.
I don't know how on earth we are going to go back to Gayle's ever expanding range of Haggis recipes now that we have tasted such delectable dishes!

Even though we can barely move and the pain is excruciating, we have managed to put some cards together for you, (oh, the sacrifices we make for our art LOL!)
