Fairytale Friday

Good Morning ladies and gents....and welcome to another Fairytale Friday here at Teddy Bo Towers.

The Olympic closing weekend was fun at the towers.....we decided to throw open the doors and have a party to celebrate such a successful haul for Team GB.  The girls had made plenty of potato vodka and some turnip schnapps and Jill has come back from her sister's wedding in Poland with a recipe for Sauerkraut Brandy........it certainly has a kick to it and quite an after taste too......I'm thinking she should have left out the pickled remains from the jar!!!!

So.....the party was jumping and as the alcohol was flowing nobody noticed the taxi sitting outside with the driver unloading the boot.......we know NOW that this was happening as Colette is super-efficient and as well as being a whizz with Photoshop she also knew a man who did us a good deal on our CCTV system and we have watched the events of that night a few times (actually, once or twice was so that Sonia could find out where she'd left her false teeth......mind you, we got quite a shock when the film showed her removing them and rinsing them in the potato vodka.....it was fine up until the sixth time she did it and she accidentally let go of them and couldn't see straight enough any longer to fish them back out of the jug!!!)

Come Monday morning there were a few sore heads in the towers and nobody was saying much so the sound levels were very low....so low in fact that when we were finally having breakfast (about 2pm in the afternoon) we could hear a lot of rustling and snipping.  All the girls were present at the breakfast table..... not all of them were there voluntarily and none of them particularly enjoyed the experience but we all agreed that none of us were responsible for the noises we could hear.....so off we went, slowly.....very slowly......round the towers to find out what the noise was.....and upon entering the empty room next to Sonia we were dumbfounded to find a woman there gleefully colouring in pictures of Bo and Bea with bits of ribbon, fancy background papers and lots of bling flying around her as she continued with her colouring!!  Word had got round the tower (Tammy has one air of lungs on her) and all the girls gingerly came running....well, actually because Debbie had been up since 8am and had polished the floors a lot of them skidded down the halls...to stop outside of this tiny room.  The little lady inside the room was now smiling at us (such a shame as nobody was smiling back at her!!) and as she rushed to her feet the box that was balancing on her knee came crashing down at Liz's feet.......Liz couldn't help herself and started rummaging through the box, then Maritha followed her, then Trine and then Kirsty-Anne!!!!  It was chaotic!!! It only took a very loud scream from Gayle to stop them from opening up the other boxes that were placed around the room.  Gayle quickly found her voice and asked the little lady who she was......."why I'm Rumpelstiltskin" she cried!!!

WHAT?!?!?!

"Okay....I'm obviously not, I'm Donna and I want to join your Design Team!!!"

The girls all looked at Donna, then at Gayle, then back at Donna again....then at Gayle...by this time a few of them were feeling a bit sick and had to run to the toilet....so knowing that there was a risk of some of the girls being too ill this week and not getting any cards made Gayle agreed that Donna could stay but she had to get making some cards straight away.....and guess what....she did!!!!

So, welcome Donna to our Design Team......you've seen us at our worst and that didn't scare you away so you might just fit in here!!!!! ;O)
