An interesting letter arrive at Teddy Bo Towers this week. It’s from the Council, and it’s unusual that they have responded so quickly. You’d have thought the girls had been very naughty indeed.
Dear Teddy Bo Design Team
It has come to our attention that you have recently tried to destroy Mr Mole’s property (Level -1, Teddy Bo Towers). It is believed that you tried to ‘drop a tree’ on him in an attempt to get him to leave his property situated below your own. Mr Mole has requested that you please remove the aforementioned tree as it’s reduces the light levels within his tunnel significantly (blocking one of only two little windows in his home).
In addition, he has had increased levels of dampness as rain water seeps down through the hole where the tree is. This dampness is causing the growth of mould on Mr Moles property.
If the tree is not removed within the next seven days, and the ground made safe and secure, action will be taken against the owners of Teddy Bo Towers.
Any further attempt to intimidate Mr Mole will result in action by both the council, and the police department.
In addition, he requests that you cease to wear high heeled shoes as you ‘parade around the tower’ basement as the continual click, click, click of heels on the stone surface are interrupting his listening to his favourite programme, The Archers.
We will be installing sound measuring devices in his property to measure noise levels. We request that you look to reduce noise levels within the building in line with the attached guidance.
Mr Grumpy P. Ants
Annoyed at the letter from the Council, the girls charged out to the tree to try and pull it out. Nothing was happening, so they “ACCIDENTLY” set it on fire and called the fire brigade (naughty girls). In a matter of minutes the local fire brigade arrived to put the tree out, pulling it from the ground, and making the area safe. Ever thankful, the girls flirted with the firemen which put the fear of god into them. They quickly made the excuse that the Fire Station was on fire and they had to go and put it out, all the guys climbed on board leaving some very frustrated women behind.
In addition, to avoid causing any further problems with the council Claire has knitted woolly high heel shoe covers for all the girls. They slip them on over their precious heels, and the wool helps to muffle the sounds.
As the fireman didn't want to stay too long at the Towers, the girls managed to make some wonderful cards....x We've also got some farewells to say this week to both Karen and Trudie.....thank you ladies for the wonderful cards you've made with Teddy Bo and Bea and for all the fun times we've had in the towers.......see you around Blogland...x
